Kabir Singh

Remembering Kabir Singh

December 6, 2024
by

It’s a sad time for the Bay Area comedy community. Kabir Singh, who started doing comedy in Fremont and made his way to the Semifinals on America’s Got Talent, has died.

Kabir most recently hosted a week of the 2024 San Francisco Comedy Competition in September. He was the winner of the 39th Dan Francisco Comedy Competition in 2014 and after that win, he really started breaking out. He was headlining comedy clubs across North America. In addition to AGT, he worked with “The Family Guy”, several specials and had recently filmed a pilot for a TV show. Even with all of his success he would reach out to see if we needed someone to do a stall set while we figure out the top five at the end of a competition show.

He was a really great guy, very supportive of other comedians. He will be greatly missed.
